  • Can I come for a free trial?

    You are welcome to come in and see the gym before joining up but we don’t offer a free trial to use the facilities.

  • Can I use the spa facilities?

    Simply BFit membership does not include use of the spa facilities. BFit off peak includes use of the spa facilities Monday to Thursday and BFit peak includes use of the spa facilities seven days a week.

  • Do I need to pre-book?

    No, you don’t need to pre-book a session to use the gym.

  • What should I wear?

    Clothing appropriate to a gym environment – no jeans or flip flops. Clean trainers should also be worn.

  • Where can I shower?

    Simply BFit membership does not include access to any showers. BFit peak and BFit off peak both include use of the spa facilities, including the changing rooms and showers on the third floor.

  • What is the minimum age to join BFit?

    You must be at least 18 years old to join BFit

  • Are there any corporate membership rates available?

    If your company is located on the Brooklands estate or The Heights, we would be happy to discuss corporate membership.

  • Are there any lockers?

    Yes, they are in the changing rooms in BSpa on the third floor of the hotel, which both peak and off-peak BFit members can access. Show your BFit membership card to BSpa Reception to get a key.

  • Do you provide towels?

    Sweat towels are provided complimentary in the gym. If you need a towel for a shower, please see BSpa Reception to hire one for a £1 fee.

  • Do I have to have an induction?

    As well as completing the PARQ form, a member of the Brooklands Hotel team will show you around BFit gym and show you how to use the cardio equipment safely.

  • Can I freeze my membership?

    We don’t freeze memberships for holiday periods but if you are ill and not likely to use BFit for at least one month, then please contact us to discuss options.

  • What notice do I have to give if I want to leave?

    One month’s notice in writing is required to cancel your membership. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds on annual or 12 month standing order/direct debit memberships.

  • Can I park my car for free?

    BFit members get two hours complimentary car parking. After this, there are hourly charges. You must enter your car registration into the tablets at main reception to take advantage of the complimentary car parking.

  • Do I get anything for referring a friend or family member to BFit?

    If a friend or family member join for 12 months as a result of you referring them, you will get a free 25 minute spa treatment.

  • Can someone else use my BFit membership?

    No, only you can use BFit gym as a member. However, you can bring a friend on Fridays to work out with you at no extra cost.

  • What gym rules do I have to follow?

    We want BFit to be a nice environment for all our members, so there's a few simple rules we expect everyone to follow.

    • Be nice to each other.
    • Carry a sweat towel and use it.
    • Wear gym kit & clean trainers when you're training (no jeans or flip flops!)
    • Don’t drop the weights and put them away after you've used them.
    • No bags on the gym floor
    • Empty your locker when you leave
  • What are the opening times of BFit?

    We are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Do I get a BFit membership card?

    Yes, you do. You’ll need to show this when you arrive at Reception to get your complimentary two hours car parking, your towel for £1 (if you need one) and also a key card to access the changing rooms in BSpa on the third floor of the hotel.

  • How can I pay for BFit membership?

    You can pay for your membership monthly via standing order/direct debit, annually via standing order/direct debit or all at once as a lump sum by bank transfer or credit/debit card. There is a discount for payment annually or as a lump sum.

  • When will be standing order/direct debit be taken?

    Your standing order should be set up to leave your account on the first day of each month. Your direct debit will be taken within the first 5 working days of each month.

  • What happens if I miss a standing order/direct debit payment?

    These things happen from time to time so don’t worry. If your direct debit is still active, we’ll re-attempt the direct debit around the middle of the month. If paying by standing order, you will need to re-instate this as soon as possible within the month it was missed to continue as a BFit member.

  • How much is BFit membership?

    £49/£199/£249 per month when paid by standing order/direct debit with one month paid at time of joining to be held as a deposit. £98/£398/£498 paid in first month then £49/£199/£249 per month.

    £490/£1990/£2490 when paid annually (either by direct debit/standing order or by credit/debit card) plus one month paid at time of joining. Total of £539/£2189/£2739 for the first year then £490/£1990/£2490 upon renewal.
