Meet The Team that Make It Exceptional at Brooklands Hotel
We've introduced some of the key members of the team here at Brooklands Hotel but we thought you'd like to get to know them a little better. Next up, it's Giulio, our Food & Beverage Operations Manager. Giulio has been with Brooklands just over 10 years. He is originally from Naples, Italy and has always worked in the hospitality industry. His first job was when he was 14 years old working in a restaurant in Naples and he’s built up a wealth of knowledge and experience during his career. He is passionate about the whole restaurant experience; it’s not just about the food, the wine, the location or the service for Giulio, it’s about all four elements combined. Giulio’s specialism is wine and he’s an AIS Sommelier (AIS stands for Associazone Italia Sommelier) and holds an Advanced Wines & Spirits Education Trust qualification – so he is a wine expert! Giulio is more than happy to chat to guests about wine and answer any questions. He is very curious about wines and his favourite thing about wine is the diversity of flavours and tastes. He hasn’t got an out and out favourite wine, but he has sampled a glass of Chateau Petrus, which costs around £2,500 a bottle!
